Manoj Kumar
QualificationManoj is currently a Full Professor in the Finance & Accounting Area and also also the Chairperson (MBA) at IIM Jammu. He has an experience of over 22 years in areas of: Academic Administration, Pedagogical Methods, Executive Training, Finance & Accounting Research, Institution Building and Management Consulting and is currently the Professor and Chairperson (MBA) at IIM Jammu. Prior to his current role, he was Associate Dean (Management Education) & Professor at SVKM's NMIMS, Navi Mumbai. At NMIMS, he build a new campus of SVKM’s NMIMS from its inception. Under his leadership, NMIMS, Navi Mumbai built a strong image of its academic programmes. Earlier he was Founding Chairperson of FLAME University’s Centre for Case Development at Pune. Prior to joining FLAME University, he was a Professor of Finance & Accounting at IIM Lucknow & IIM Rohtak for around 8 years (May 2006-Feb 2014). He is the member of ‘Board of Studies’, 'Ph.D. Admission Panel' and ‘Advisory Board in Research’ of various universities/institutions. In an earlier assignment as an Associate Professor at IIM Rohtak, he was the founding head of the Professional Development Centre (MDPs & FDPs) of IIM Rohtak. He has trained over 1000 senior and middle Management Professionals and over 500 teachers through numerous MDPs and FDPs. Besides teaching & training, he is a prolific researcher and has published papers in the reputed peer reviewed international journals/publishers viz., Journal of Intellectual Capital, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Vikalpa, Decision, Management Review, Journal of Modern Accounting and Auditing, Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, International Journal of Corporate Governence etc. Prior to joining IIM Rohtak, he was a faculty at IIM Lucknow, UPES, New Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad, for about nine years and held administrative positions like Deputy Director (Business Planning), Chairman (Research & PhD Program) & Chairman (Part-time Programme) in those institutions.
