Jabir Ali
QualificationJabir Ali is currently working as Professor in Economics & Business Environment Area at Indian Institute of Management Jammu and has more than 16 years of academic experience in organization of repute such as National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad; Institute of Cooperative and Corporate Management, Research & Training (ICCMRT), Lucknow and Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. His area of interest in teaching and research includes Business Environment, Economic Policy Analysis, Social Marketing, Social Entrepreneurship, International Trade, Risk Management and Commodity Futures and Options. He has successfully completed more than 30 research/ consultancy projects funded by State/ Central Government and international agencies and coordinated a number of Management Development Programmes for the participants from Asian and African Countries. He has travelled to more than 20 countries for academic assignments and has attended Case Writing Workshop and Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning at Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.

Most of the papers are also listed in Journal Citation Report of Clarivate Analytics and ABDC.
He has successfully contributed in academic administration in the capacity of Director, Centre for Knowledge Management, ICT and Mass Media, MANAGE, Hyderabad, Principal, MBA Program at ICCMRT, Lucknow, Chairman, Management Development Programme Centre (Executive Education) and Centre for Food & Agribusiness Management at IIM Lucknow. He is actively involved in reviewing the research papers for leading international journals and has been continuously evaluating PhD thesis for a number of national and international universities/ institutes. He has also been into board of studies of a number of universities and curriculum revision committees.
He was earlier nominated as member of Sub-group on Land and Water Resources - Agriculture, Irrigation and Allied Sectors under the Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-12) of Uttar Pradesh by the State Planning Commission, Department of Planning, Government of Uttar Pradesh and as member in State Level Committee of SGSY, Department of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
