Dr. Minakshi Kumari is presently an Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain area at
Indian Institute of Management, Jammu. She has received her doctorate from IIT Delhi and her
professional experience is a blend of academia and industry. She has headed the research and
business analytics division of a Delhi based start-up in her previous experience. Prior to this, she
has been associated with IIM Ahmedabad as an academic associate in Production and
Quantitative Methods Area. She has worked as internal and external consultant, for business
process reengineering activities, to manufacturing as well as service companies. Her research
interests are majorly aligned to manufacturing sector with focus on various aspects of Smart
manufacturing.
