Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants applying for the EMBA program must fulfil the following criteria of both work experience and educational qualifications.

  • Work Experience: Candidates should have at least three years of work experience. Experience earned during the study period will not be considered.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • The candidate should have a Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (50% for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category).
    • The candidate either should hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by recognised University/educational institution or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India or alternately should have completed professional programs like CA/CS/ICWA.

Application Process

  • Application fee:
    • Rs. 2,000 for General category/OBC/EWS
    • IRs. 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates

Selection Process

The participants undergo a rigorous selection process:

  • Admission in EMBA (Blended Mode) will be done based on written test (IIMJAT), academic profile, work experience, and a personal interview.
  • The candidates with CAT/GMAT/GRE score obtained during the past three years may be exempted from the IIMJAT. The past three years would be counted from the last date of the admission application.
  • An IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability will be conducted by the Institute. The pattern for IIMJAT will be as follows:
    • There will be 3 sections in IIMJAT – Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) & Logical Reasoning (LR).
    • Each question will carry 4 marks. For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
    • The IIMJAT will be structured as given below:

Merit List

Finally, a merit list will be prepared based on CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT score, academic profile, and  personal interview as per the EMBA Admission Policy.
